Updated ECHO Warranty Policy

Echo’s warranty policy has remained effectively unchanged over the life of the company. Due to a vast number of factors including rising costs, unfortunate acts of program abuse, and keeping with the way the industry is going with these policies, we have updated our policy for 2020. These changes will not affect all customers, but depending on which model they bought and when, a few things may change.

We have worked over the past year to fine-tune this new process and policy based on researching what our competitors offer, what our shops and sales reps suggest, and what would best serve our anglers and wholesale shops. It’s a tough balancing act, but we think we’ve got it dialed.

As with any changes, we know there will be some pains and glitches along the way, but we will take any and all issues on a case-by-case basis to make sure this change works for everybody. Ultimately, our goal with this and overall mission is to keep people going back to fly shops for new gear. The days of replacing a 10+yr old broken rod with the new model for $35 are going to be phasing out.

ECHO Warranty Policy

All ECHO rods are covered by our policy over the natural life of the product for the original owner at the discretion of Rajeff Sports. Rods that are determined to be damaged by abuse or neglect, either by physical or environmental factors (saltwater, mold, etc) are not covered by our warranty policy.

If your rod breaks, we will repair or replace your rod for a service fee (fee level differs by rod model) while the rod is still in production. If you break your rod after the model has been discontinued, you will be offered a current equivalent replacement model at 50% off the MSRP if parts for your rod are no longer available.

Most current production models will have replacement tips available for purchase without submitting a warranty/repair request.

Rajeff Sports / ECHO Fly Fishing reserves the right to update and change this policy at any time. We understand that every situation is unique and strive to stand by our products and guarantee quality, performance and reliability. Accidents happen, and we want you to have options to get back on the water. Quality control and manufacturing inconsistencies also happen, though rarely, and we want to make sure we do everything in our power to get them corrected.

All warranty and service requests are processed at the discretion of our warranty department.
