Hey Ray,
I was in a couple weeks ago grabbing some worms for Guelph Lake and we were talking about where I fish by the bridge just down the road. The worms were a “backup” because I said I was tired of striking out. You started talking to me about where I usually cast, which is just off shore right beside everyone else, and were just reiterating how important it is to reach the spots that people don’t normally drop a line into. Well finally I got the chance to put our boat on the water and try out some new spots this past weekend and I caught the biggest Pike I’ve ever seen! He was about 44” and so heavy I could hardly hold him for pictures hahaha… So thanks for being on my case to fish in new spots 😊 I’ve only been fishing for 2 years so this was a pretty big moment for me.
Just wanted to share!
Cheers,
