This reel and spare spool is in like new condition having been used only a few of times. The Spheros 5000 and 6000 sized reels are identical except for the spools, which are interchangeable. The Shimano Spheros reels are fully sealed for saltwater use and contain many proprietary Shimano technologies like X Ship bearing system Hagane body and gearing, X Shield, SA-RB bearings and full sealed drags. The 5000 size reel can spool 225 yards of 30 lb PowerPro or 195 yards of 12 lb mono. The 6000 size spool can hold 195 yards of 50 lb PowerPro or 170 yards of 16 lb mono. The 5000 weighs 16 oz. and has 22 lbs of drag. Add 0.2 oz. for the 6000 size.
