Scott Fly Rods S4S series is the rod of all rods. Capable of muscling the largest of fish while still retaining a remarkable amount of feel and precision.

Scott S4s 906/4 saltwater fly fishing rods are fantastic for a variety of light saltwater flats fly fishing species, and make awesome freshwater rods for fishing streamers and casting sinking lines.

Saltwater fly fishing requires both performance and durability – Scott S4s fly rods are designed and made to give you the edge in the salt. S4s guides are made with titanium guide frames for supreme lightness and 100% corrosion resistance, while the Scott Mil-Spec III reel seats go beyond standard type 2 anodizations. Mil-Spec III andoize actually penetrates the surface of the aluminum for an ultra-hard, durable and most corrosion resistant finish available. We’ve fished the salt a ton and know that the S4s fly rods have a sweet blend of power, strength and touch for a variety of situations. Scott X-Core Technology utilize industry leading composite technologies with cutting edge design for maximum feel and otherworldly stability. The fast taper that the Scott S4s rods have been designed with is optimal for power and control keys to saltwater fly fishing. Designed for the salt, the Scott S4s fly rods also make great powerful fly rods for a number of freshwater applications. A modified S4s 9010/4 exists in the lineup for pike and muskie fishing – an extended fighting butt and stiffer tip for mega-size flies. We’re positive that if you’re heading to the salt or just need some power, you’ll love the Scott S4s!
