Orvis Odyssey III Fly Reel – Made in the U.S.A..

The reel continues to enjoy quite the cult following 20+ years after being introduced.

Designed by Jim LePage for Leigh Perkins at Orvis and marketed in the Orvis catalogs beginning in 1994, the reel was ahead of its time performance-wise but because of its unconventional appearance and poor promotion it soon vanished from the catalogs.

The features include a palming rim, two inch diameter cork/composite drag surface, recessed counterweight, smooth radiused edges, knurled drag-adjustment knob, and a click in both directions.
