It’s Spring, opening day is around the corner and the steelhead are running.
It’s time to shed the winter rust from our Spey Casting skills.
This six hour program is a perfect opportunity for beginners to learn Spey Casting as well as a tune up for those with an intermediate level of casting skill.
It doesn’t matter which style of Spey Casting you prefer (Traditional, Scandinavian, or Skagit), nor your level of experience, as we will tailor the program for each individual in the session.
Our course will be conducted on the Speed River in Guelph so bring your waders and a rain jacket, as steelheaders never quit on the account of a little rain.
If you want to try Spey Casting and don’t have a switch or two-handed rod, we can provide all of the tackle required.
If you have a suitable rod, reel and line, we encourage you to bring it along.
We will also have spare Spey lines on hand should you need a better line match for your rod or wish to try something different.
If you’ve alays wanted to try your hand at Spey Casting, or need to knock the rust off, this session will be the perfect opportunity, so don’t miss it!
