Brian has been fishing since 1967 and fly fishing since 1988 and guiding since 2003. Fly fishing has taken him from Quebec to Belize and Cuba, from the Catskills of New York to Montana, BC and Florida.
In December 2009 Brian visited fabled Chilean Patagonia with a friend and guide from the Coyhaique Chile. For two weeks he was in Brown Trout heaven, fishing streams, rivers and the lakes of Patagonia for wild browns mostly on dry flies.
Brian and his Chilean Partner “Pancho” created ChileTrout.com and have taken guests from Canada and the USA to visit Patagonia each year since.
Though the fishing is outstanding, over the years Brian has shot hundreds of nature photos including several of the rare South Andean Deer called Huemul
Brian’s camera has captured the jaw dropping vistas of Chilean Patagonia as well as some fantastic fish and exotic wildlife! If you’ve ever wondered what fishing was like over a hundred years ago Chile is likely the answer. A place that has not yet invented litter and is absent of crowds, Chile is as close to paradise as you can get. If you are thinking about the trip of a lifetime, you might want to consider Chile as your destination.
Regardless of whether you intend to visit Patagonia you will enjoy Brian’s window into Patagonia over three seasons: Spring, Summer and Fall
If you are interested in attending Patagonia in 2015 Brian will be setting the dates and trip options.
