Hello,
We are looking to your organization for support for our 2018 Youth Outdoors Day Event. This popular event is held at Luther Marsh in Wellington County and draws approximately 250 children annually. The focus of the day is to reach out to the youth in our communities and introduce them to the great outdoors. We provide a safe, informative, fun environment where the next generation of our youth can learn about a variety of enjoyable outdoor pursuits in an effort to promote recognition of our outdoor heritage. There are educational demonstrations and numerous hands-on activities available to the children
This event takes a great deal of planning and organization but we have a great team of volunteers that put forth a tremendous effort to see this day become a success each year.
The event is open to children ages 9-15 years old and is arranged exclusively with sponsor donations. We are able to provide a snack in the morning, delicious lunch and a special event bag to each child – all at no cost to the participant. There are also a small number of appreciated sponsor-donated door prizes handed out over the lunch break.
Thanks to our generous sponsors we are able to keep this a free event and offer some fantastic door prizes to the children. A donation (financial, in-kind services or a door prize) would be greatly appreciated and will help in making the day an even greater success. A tax receipt is available for donations over $25. If you require a tax receipt please make the donation out to ‘Grand River Conservation Foundation’ but if no tax receipt is needed it can be made out to ‘Youth Outdoors Day’. Thank you kindly for your consideration.
Our 17th Anniversary Youth Outdoors Day will be held on Saturday September 15th, 2018.
Please visit our website at www.youthoutdoorsday.com for additional details or call the number below if you have any further questions or comments or would like more information.

Thank you kindly for considering supporting this free, educational, youth-centred, fun event. We are very excited for our 17th Anniversary and hope to make this year extra-special for the kids.
Sincerely,
Adam Storer
