Tomster “Princess Charlotte Spey Fly”.
Ray , here are the goods…
Slide a 5/32″ brass bead on a Daiichi 2050 Alec Jackson hook.
Wrap white 210 ultra thread from behind the bead to parallel with the point.
Tie in 3″ of the opal mirage tinsel make a 6 wrap back-6 wrap forward tag.
Make a dubbing loop and place a sparse amount of Senyos white laser dub material.
Thin in the back and gradually denser so you get a nicely tapered body.
After it is spun, wrap to just behind the bead…
Leave a little space for the white Spey marabou wrap.
Tie in the tip section of a one side stripped marabou hackle and Palmer wrap 4 times to the bead.
Half hitch 3 times and trim off the thread.

Start a new wrap ahead of bead and tie in just a few strands of Ice dub minnow back shimmer frindge material…
Keep it centered on top of the bead to the back .
I prefer the Chartreuse peacock back for this pattern.
Lastly strip one side of a white wide saddle hackle, tie it in and Palmer wrap neatly 5 or 6 times and whip finish neatly and cement.
I fish this with a 7 ‘ looped section of T-10 and 4’ of 8lb.
